People meet in Architecture.
"The idea is to help people relate to architecture, to help architecture relate to people, and to help people relate to themselves", says Kazuyo Sejima. Trying to define what are the reasons for people "to meet" in architecture, the conclusion was: obstacles. Either door holding or loss of direction at a venue are all obstacles that force us to "meet" and seek for people’s assistance. This project simplifies architectural elements to a basic level and organizes them into a space installation using physical obstacles, light, varying room temperature and smells to create an abstract setup that can be overcome easily only with another person’s assistance.
